Bryan-College Station, Texas – Texas Southern Women's Golf teams return to action this week as they compete in their final tournament for the regular season, the "Mo" Morial Invitational hosted by Texas A&M. The Tigers posted a team total of 925 (309 – 301 – 315) to finish in fourth place overall at the National Women's Collegiate Golf Championship hosted by the Women's in Golf Foundation. Junior Azul Amezcua was the top finisher for the Tigers with her fifth-place individual finish on nine-over-par 222 (74 – 67 – 81). Graduate student Kennedi Lee came in fifteenth place on 233 (79 – 75 – 79), while Alexa Gonzalez was three strokes back on 236 (79 – 78 – 79) and finished in seventeenth place overall.
