Winthrop Defeats Virginia Tech Sunday Afternoon, 3-0

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Playing on the road for the first time this season, Winthrop volleyball rebounded from Friday night's five-set loss to Virginia Tech but registering a 3-0 sweep of the Hokies in a re-match (25-20, 25-22, 25-21) Sunday afternoon.  This is Winthrop's first victory over an ACC opponent since a 3-0 sweep at Virginia on Sep. 4, 2021.
