ATLANTA, Ga. (January 10, 2022) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its men’s and women’s basketball Players of the Week. For women, Amari Heard (Savannah State) was named Player of the Week, while Sumaiyah Abdur-Rahim (Tuskegee) earned Newcomer of the Week. For men, Marcus Scott V (Central State) was named Player of the Week, alongside, Asanti Price (Benedict) who earned Newcomer of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday.
