Volleyball Takes Set from SEC’s Auburn University at War Eagle Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – Coppin State's volleyball team took the opening set before dropping the next three to SEC member Auburn University in a 3-1 (24-26, 25-17, 25-15, 25-18) loss at the Tigers' War Eagle Invitational on Friday night at Neville Arena. The Eagles now stand at 1-1 on the young season while the Tigers, who advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament last season, won their third-straight season opener.
