Volleyball Sweeps Howard, 3-0, in Battle for First Place in the MEAC

BALTIMORE – Behind 13 kills from Yaniris Miller-Green and nine more from both Miajavon Coleman and Ammaarah Williams, the Coppin State volleyball team swept Howard, 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-21) in a battle for first place in the MEAC on Sunday afternoon at PEC Arena.  The Eagles, who split the season series with the Bison, stand alone in first place at 19-8 overall and 10-1 in league play.
