The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Lady Buccaneer basketball team closed out its 2023-2024 season with a 95-47 loss to the Lady Bulldogs of Tougaloo College in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) 2024 Hope Credit Union Men’s and Women's Basketball Championship at Birthright Alumni Hall in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Wednesday night. The loss in the first round of this single-elimination tournament abruptly ended the season for the Lady Buccaneers.
