(Dec. 14, 2022) --- Delaware State University women's lacrosse student-athlete Sydney Anderson has been selected by voters in a USA Lacrosse Magazine poll as the 2022 Best Advocate in the college women's category for her compelling account of our Hornets' women's lacrosse team incident with the Liberty County Sheriff's Office in Georgia last spring. Anderson outpolled three others for the honor, receiving more than 36% of the nearly 2,000 votes.
