UNC Asheville Alum Henry Patten Wins Wimbledon Doubles Championship

On Saturday, July 13, former UNC Asheville men’s tennis player and three-time Big South Player of the Year Henry Patten and his doubles partner Harri Heliovaara defeated Jordan Thompson and Max Purcell 6-7(7), 7-6(8), 7-6(10-9) to win the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Doubles title.  Patten and Heliovaara were the first unseeded pair to win the Doubles Trophy since 2014.
