Washington, D.C. -The University of the District of Columbia women’s tennis team suffered their first loss of the season, falling 6-1 to St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) on Wednesday. Despite some hard-fought matches, the Firebirds were unable to overcome the strong performance of the Spartans, moving to a 5-1 overall record and 3-1 in East Coast Conference (ECC) play.
