DOBBS FERRY, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia’s women’s basketball team were defeated by conference foe, Mercy University 50-67, Saturday afternoon at the Mercy Gymnasium . The two teams split the season series as the both won at home. The Firebirds slip to 5-3 in conference play while the Mavericks improved to 4-4.
