NASHVILLE- The Tennessee State University Tigerbelles, on the strength of five first-place finishes, placed second in the 24th Annual Ed Temple Classic at the Wilma Rudolph Indoor Facility. The Tigerbelles won both throwing events as Leilany Laureano won the shot put with a throw of 45' 3.25, and Maleah Decuir placed first in the weight throwing at 53' 5. Laureano also placed fifth in the weight with a throw of 42' 11. Backing up Laureano in the shot was Desire Poole with a throw of 37' 8.75, which placed her in fourth place, and Decuir's 37' 4.75 effort put her in fifth place.
