Southern Blanks Lady Braves Softball in Opening Game of Series

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Alcorn State softball team played well defensively but could not get the offense moving, falling 2-0 to Southern University Saturday afternoon. Senior Alexa Veamoi led the Lady Braves in the circle, pitching 6.0 innings, tallying three strikeouts, and allowing six hits and two runs (one earned).
