South Carolina State Upsets Morgan State to Advance in MEAC Softball Championship

NORFOLK, Va., May 8, 2025 – No. 6 seed South Carolina State delivered the biggest upset of the 2025 MEAC Softball Championship so far, taking down defending champion and No. 4 seed Morgan State, 4-2, in an elimination game Thursday afternoon. The Lady Bulldogs now advance to face No. 2 Norfolk State in the consolation semifinal on Friday, May 9.
