ATLANTA, Ga --The Tennessee State Tigers (8-6) fell 5-4 in an eight-inning matchup with the Georgia State Panthers Sunday. Freshman Holly Ayala was a bright spot for the Tigers, starting the ballgame and throwing six innings, giving up two runs, all earned, on six hits, with no walks and three strikeouts. Caitlyn Manus (6-3) took the loss in relief. Offensively, the Tigers were led by freshman Onnika Spencer, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a home run and two RBI. Sophomore Mikayla Duke also compiled a standout performance at the dish, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Sophomore Ryla Traylor also helped for TSU, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate while adding two doubles.
