RALEIGH, N.C. - The Elizabeth City State volleyball team was handed their first conference loss of the season by the Shaw Bears in Spaulding Gymnasium on Thursday night to a packed crowd of home and away supporters. The ladies drop to 22-8 in the regular season and 14-1 in conference play as Shaw improves to a 18-7 (13-1 CIAA) season. The ladies return back to Interstate 95 up to Richmond, VA making a final conference play stop to the Panthers of Virginia Union. First serve is slated for 6 p.m.
