(www.BigSouthSports.com) – For the third consecutive year, associate member Mercer University is the No. 1 seed in the Big South Women’s Lacrosse Championship, it was announced this morning. The Bears, High Point and associate member Furman finished as co-regular-season champions, as the three teams finished 7-1 in the Big South standings. Since the teams went 1-1 against each other as well as the same won/loss result against the remaining schools, the tiebreaker process reached the third level -- RPI rank to the thousandth.
