(www.BigSouthSports.com) – For the first time since 2019, Winthrop University is the No. 1 seed in the Big South Volleyball Championship tournament, it was determined following the conclusion of the conference season this evening. The Eagles shared the Big South regular-season championship with a 12-2 league record to mark their eighth overall regular-season crown. The top six teams in the final standings qualify for the league’s postseason championship, which will be contested Nov. 21-23 at the Millis Athletic Center on the campus of High Point University.
