BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -- West Virginia State women's basketball (11-11, 6-9 MEC) set a new season benchmark in both field goal shooting and long range shooting enroute to a wire-to-wire victory over non-conference opponent Bluefield State (9-15, 2-10 CIAA) on Monday night shooting 44 percent from the field and 41 percent from beyond the arc.
