CHARLOTTE, NC (January 20, 2023)— CIAA students across the 12 member-institutions can register now for the 2023 U.S. Army CIAA Esports Experience presented by Wendy’s. The U.S. Army CIAA Esports Experience will feature various gaming tournaments, headlined by a bracket-style, single-elimination NBA 2K23 tournament modeled after the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA)’s annual basketball tournament. The CIAA will be gifting a paid trip to Baltimore, MD for four students to compete in the finals of the conference’s NBA 2K23 Esports Tournament with a prize pool of more than $6500 on the line.
