BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –– The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced the 2023 preseason all-conference teams, and the Rattlers had four named to the teams. Pitcher Cris'Deona Beasley and shortstop Destiney Cuevas made the first team after being named All-Conference in 2022. Catcher Nyah Morgan and outfielder Melkayla Irvis were named to the Preseason All-SWAC Second Team.
