Release courtesy of Queens College Sports Information FLUSHING, NY – With a trip to the NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament in Altamonte Springs, FL booked, the Queens College men's tennis team has been seeded #13 in their quest for a National title. For the second straight year head coach Somadi Druker and the Knights are making an appearance as one of the Final 16 teams remaining in the country who will battle for the National title. Also, it is the program's eighth overall appearance in the NCAA Men's Tennis Championship. The NCAA Championship is set to run from Tuesday, May 20 to Saturday, May 24 in Altamonte Springs, FL at Sanlando Park. It has been a tremendous year for Druker and the Knights as they boast an overall record of 18-4, clinched the East Coast Conference Regular Season and Tournament title, and earned the #1 seed for the third straight year. The Knights will match up against #4 seed and nationally-ranked #5 team Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals who enter the tournament with an overall record of 23-2 and are making their first-ever appearance as one of the final 16 teams remaining in the country.
