PITCHING KEYS EAGLES SWEEP OF HORNETS

Dover, Del. (Apr. 16, 2023) --- Visiting Coppin State allowed just two runs in 14 innings to highlight its doubleheader sweep of Delaware State in  MEAC softball today. The Eagles won the first game 4-0 as Vanessa Carrizosa tossed a two-hit shutout to lead the way. Coppin State scored a run in the top of the fourth inning and tacked on three insurance runs in the seventh to seal the win.
