The LOC men's basketball team defeated Savannah State University 69-57 last night in the teams home-opener. After a heartbreaking road loss to Delta State University in their season opener the Magicians were eager to get back on the court and add a win to the win column. The Magicians did just that. For much of the evening the Magicians led the defending SIAC Champs and took all the momentum into halftime. In the first half the Magicians outscored the Tigers 26-23 while shooting %47 percent from the field and just %16 percent from the three point distance.
