NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Saniya Keys scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds Saturday night in a 76-43 exhibition game loss to Trevecca Nazarene inside Trojan Fieldhouse. Keys was 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-4 from the free throw line. The Ambassadors struggled mightily against Trevecca, an NCAA Division II program in the Gulf South Conference. Oakwood shot 26 percent (13-of-50) from the field, including 15.8 percent (3-of-19) from 3-point range, and 48.3 percent (14-of-29) from the free throw line. Tatum Shaw and Jordan Gillies led the Trojans with 16 points apiece. Cheyenne Trotter and Ellie Butler finished with 13 and 10 points, respectively. Trevecca shot 42.2 percent (27-of-64) from the field, including 35.5 percent (11-of-31) from beyond the arc, and 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the charity stripe. Oakwood is off until Nov. 20 when it hosts Talladega College in its HBCU Athletic Conference opener.
