SHREVEPORT, La. – Oakwood University will take on Huston-Tillotson University tonight at 6 in the 2025 HBCU Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship at Bossier Parish Community College. The Ambassadors enter the tournament (12-9, 7-3) as the No. 3 seed in the East Division, while the Rams (14-11, 10-2) are the No. 2 seed in the West Division. Oakwood is enjoying its best season since joining the conference in 2022. Kamaria Murray ranks fourth in the conference with 3.03 kills per set and second with 0.60 service aces per set. Murray leads the team with 214 kills. Harmonie Banks is second on the team with 106, while Morgan Bone and Anna Jones finished with 106 and 90 kills, respectively. Cameryn Bucknor has a team-high 293 assists, while Alexis Wiley has 244. Bucknor and Wiley tied for the team lead with 180 digs. Arial Smith has 182, while Murray finished with 163. Murray leads the team with 41 aces, while Wiley and Bucknor finished with 37 and 31, respectively. Banks has a team-high 33 blocks, while Cammora Robinson has 23. Huston-Tillotson's Taylor Fisher ranks fifth in the conference with 324 digs. Freshman Lindsey Morris leads the team with 204 kills and 2.76 kills per set.
