HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kamaria Murray had 11 kills and seven digs, while Cameryn Bucknor had 18 assists, seven aces and five digs as Oakwood University swept Rust College 3-0 Thursday night in an HBCU Athletic Conference volleyball game inside Ashby Auditorium. The Ambassadors won 25-20-, 25-12 and 25-17. Oakwood, which has won two straight games and four of its last five, improved to 12-8 overall and 7-3 in league play. Rust fell to 0-22 and 0-8. Harmonie Banks backed Murray with five kills, while Morgan Bone finished with four. Arial Smith had 10 digs, while Alexis Wiley finished with nine. Cammora Robinson had four blocks. Amarie Bankhead led Rust with five kills. Jakayla Foulks had 14 assists and 16 digs, while Jazmin Conner had 14 digs. Oakwood will host Tennessee Southern Monday night in its final game of the regular season. First serve is set for 6.
