OAKWOOD MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO PAUL QUINN COLLEGE

SHREVEPORT, La. -  Oakwood University fell 5-1 to Paul Quinn College Tuesday night in the 2025 HBCUAC Men's Soccer Championship at Lee Hedges Stadium.   Obed Dushimimana scored in the 85th minute to help the Ambassadors avoid the shutout.   Akio Hirata had three of Oakwood's seven shots on the day. Rajae Brooks had two shots, including a shot on goal, while David Thompson had a shot and a shot on goal.   Goalkeeper Neriah Bean had eight saves, but allowed five goals.   The Ambassadors were outshot 19-7, including 13-3 in shots on goal.   Amando Garcia scored two goals to lead the Tigers.   Oakwood finished the season 2-7.   Follow the Ambassadors Visit the official home of Oakwood University athletics at Oakwood University - Official Athletics Website.
