COLONIA, NJ – St. Thomas Aquinas (30-19, 16-4 ECC) has earned the No. 5 seed by way of an at-large bid while ECC tournament champion D'Youville (23-18, 9-11 ECC) will be the No. 8 seed by way of the ECC's automatic bid entering this week's NCAA Softball East Regional Championship. The Spartans and Saints will play in the same bracket as host-school No. 1 Pace and No. 4 Bentley in Pleasantville, NY. The double elimination tournament will run from May 8-10, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Softball Super Regional Championship against the winner to come out of the other side of the bracket between host-school No. 2 WIlmington, No. 3 Goldey Beacom, No. 6 Bridgeport, and No. 7 Southern New Hampshire. D'Youville will face Northeast 10 tournament champion Pace (41-10, 20-0 NE10) on Thursday, May 8 at 11:00 AM, followed by St. Thomas Aquinas vs. Bentley (24-19, 12-8 NE10) at 2:00 PM.
