ECC Attacker of the Year Emma Blumenstock was not going to be denied. The Roberts Wesleyan University junior secured a ground ball at the top of the circle and began looking to make a winning play. Blumenstock passed the ball to teammate Lucy Rugaber and then cut toward goal, taking the return feed and depositing it in the back of the net 4:07 into overtime to give the Redhawks a 12-11 victory over Mercy University and the East Coast Conference championship on Sunday afternoon.
