HUNTSVILLE – Kamaria Murray, a 5-foot-7 middle hitter from Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Mona Okello, a 5-6 outside hitter from Kansas City, Kan., have been named Oakwood University's Co-Players of the Week for the week of October 13-19. Murray, who has been battling injuries, finished with 20 kills and 23 digs in two matches last week. Her best game came in a five-set win over Stillman College when she had 16 kills and 15 digs as the Ambassadors snapped a four-game losing streak. Okello, who joined the team late this season after being one of Oakwood's better players a year ago, finished with 22 kills and 21 digs. She had 11 kills and 12 digs in a four-set loss to Talladega College, then had 11 kills and nine digs in the five-set win over Stillman College to help Oakwood snap its four-game losing streak.
