MURRAY NAMED OAKWOOD'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Kamaria Murray, a 5-foot-7 middle hitter from Murfreesboro, Tenn., has been named Oakwood University's Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 15-21.   Murray put up big numbers, finishing with 28 kills and three aces, in helping the Ambassadors go 1-1 last week.   A sophomore, Murray had 13 kills and three aces in a 3-2 loss to NCAA Division II foe Tuskegee University. She followed up that effort with 15 kills in a 3-0 win over Rust College in an HBCU Athletic Conference game.   Honorable Mention honors go to Cameryn Bucknor (28 assists, 32 digs, 2 blocks) and Alexis Wiley (29 assists, 22 digs, 3 aces).   Follow the Ambassadors Visit the official home of Oakwood University athletics at Oakwood University - Official Athletics Website.
