NORFOLK, Va., January 17, 2025 - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced today that it has reached a settlement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, as well as the SBA’s Office of General Counsel and Office of the Inspector General, to repay two Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans received in 2020 and 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. This settlement resolves all claims related to the matter and does not constitute an admission of wrongdoing.
