MEAC Announces Weekly Women’s Basketball Honors

NORFOLK, Va., Nov. 12, 2024 – Norfolk State guard Diamond Johnson was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola. Howard’s freshman guard Saniyah King was named Rookie of the Week, while Norfolk States’s senior forward Kierra Wheeler earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively.
