The Norfolk State men's track team picked up several event wins, including a record-breaking performance in the weight throw, on day one of the Division I Pre-Nationals at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Junior thrower Troy McWilliams set a new school record in the weight throw (55-9.5), taking down a record that stood since 2017. Senior Raeshon Smith picked up a top ten finish in the same event, taking ninth place (50-2.25).
