TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Joshua Mack, Kyler Bradley and Tedrus Hamilton had had four hits apiece, but it wasn't enough as Stillman College swept Oakwood University Friday and Sunday in an HBCU Athletic Conference series. The Tigers downed the Ambassadors 12-0 in Friday's opener and then won a slugfest 23-16 in the nightcap. Stillman won the series finale 15-7 Sunday afternoon at Tiger Field. Oakwood fell to 2-33 overall and 2-22 in league play. Game 1 Hamilton, who finished 4-for-13 with three runs and four RBI in the series, singled to open the second inning, but that was only hit the Ambassadors managed in the opener. Argenis Rosario (0-1) took the loss, allowing eight runs, five earned, on 5 hits in 2.1 innings. He walked five and struck out two. Game 2 Bradley, Hamilton, Joshua Mack and Jeremy Matos accounted for 10 of Oakwood's 14 hits in the nightcap. Bradley was 4-for-5 with an RBI and scored four runs. Hamilton was 2-for-3 with three RBI and scored three runs. Matos was 2-for-3, including a double, five RBI and scored a run. Mack was 2-for-5, including a double, and scored four runs. Oakwood led 10-7 midway through the fourth inning, but Stillman scored 11 runs in the bottom of the inning to take command. Jordan Jennings, Treyvon Jones, Anthony Brent Jr. and Eli Kennedy had one hit apiece. Kennedy (0-7) took the loss, allowing 13 runs, 10 earned, on eight hits in three innings. He walked four and struck out four. Game 3 The game tied 4-4 through the middle of the sixth inning, but the Tigers outscored the Ambassadors 11-3 the rest of the way to win easily. Jones led the way offensively, finishing 3-for-4 including a double, and scored a run. Bradley was 2-for-4 with two doubles, scored two runs and had two RBI. Mack was 2-for-5, scored two runs and had an RBI. Hamilton had a hit and an RBI, while Akari David had a hit, scored a run and had two RBI. Dakota Cobb (0-6) took the loss, allowing seven runs, three earned, on 12 hits in six innings. He walked three and struck out two.
