Locklear notches 4 RBIs in Fayetteville State's 13-11 victory over Elizabeth City State

ELIZABETH CITY, NC --Freshman Angelica Locklear racked up four RBIs to help propel the Fayetteville State Broncos past the Elizabeth City State Vikings 13-11 on Friday during the CIAA Softball Roundup in Elizabeth City, NC. Freshman Jameyah Mars (2-2) started in the circle and picked up the win for Fayetteville State (6-14, 1-2 CIAA). The right-hander went 2.1 innings, giving up four runs, all of them earned, on five hits, allowing one walk and striking out one. Locklear went 2-for-4 with a home run in addition to her four RBIs for the Broncos. Freshman DeMya Brown furnished a standout performance as well, going 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI. Senior Braynka Brown also contributed for Fayetteville State, putting together two hits in three trips to the plate while adding a walk and an RBI.
