HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Chowan University men's soccer team stopped Conference Carolinas play for a non-conference road trip to Coker University on Tuesday evening. The Cobras were able to find the back of the net in the first half and the Hawks responded in the second to tie the game up and secure the draw. With the final result, Chowan moves to 7-3-3 on the season, while Coker sits at 1-3-6. Once again, freshman sensation, Cameron Letterlough, showed up in a big way for the Hawks, hitting the penalty kick in the 78th minute to equalize the match. Along side Letterlough, freshman keeper Lukas Kibrya is also having a standout freshman year in goal for the Hawks. Kibrya tallied five stops in frame in the match.
