ELIZABETH CITY, NC - The Claflin Lady Panthers (17-9, 5-1 CIAA) completed the 2023 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Softball Round Up in style when the team took an 11-10 win over the host Elizabeth City State Vikings (3-11, 3-3 CIAA), Sunday afternoon. The Lady Panthers took an 11-5 lead over the Vikings into the seventh inning before allowing five ECSU runs. However, the Lady Panthers would get the outs they needed and sealed the win.
