Jacksonville, FL. – The Saint Augustine's women's basketball team traveled to The Sunshine State and pulled out a road victory in dominating fashion. The Lady Falcons won the second part of a home-and-home series against the Edward Waters Tigers. After trailing by as many as 11 in the first half, the Lady Falcons surged to end the half on a 17-8 run to close the Tigers' lead to two (29-27). The Lady Falcons came out of the half and seized control of the game going on a 13-5 run to take the lead 40-34 with 6:06 in the third quarter. The Tigers fought back and briefly regained the lead with 7:42 in the fourth quarter. That lead was erased quickly as Lauren Banks drove hard to the basket for the final go-ahead bucket. The Lady Falcons closed on a 18-7 run to secure the win.
