HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Eli Kennedy had three hits and Jeremy Matos and Jordan Jennings had two each, but it wouldn't be enough as Oakwood University came up short Tuesday in a non-conference doubleheader against LeMoyne-Owen College at John Hunt Park. The Magicians downed the Ambassadors 20-4 in the opener and took the nightcap 15-1. Oakwood fell to 2-35 on the season. Game 1 Kennedy went 2-for-3 and Matos finished 2-for-4 with two RBI in the opener. Kyler Bradley went 1-for-3, including a double, and scored two runs. Jordan Jennings was 1-for-3 and scored a run, while Tedrus Hamilton also had a hit. Argenis Rosario (0-3) took the loss, allowing four hits, three runs, two earned, on four hits. He walked one and struck out three. Game 2 Kennedy and Jennings accounted for Oakwood's lone two hits in the nightcap. Jorge Hernandez (0-3) took the loss, allowing five runs, all earned, on two hits and 3.1 innings. He walked four and struck out two.
