Johnson to Receive General Douglas MacArthur Memorial Award from Norfolk Sports Club

Graduate guard Diamond Johnson will receive the General Douglas MacArthur Memorial Award from the Norfolk Sports Club on Wednesday, April 23 at The Norfolk Sports Club's 78th Annual Jamboree.   The award is presented to an outstanding collegiate athlete who attended a Virginia High School. Johnson attended Phoebus High School in Hampton, Va. as a freshman and sophomore. She averaged 29.6 points as a freshman and 33.1 points as a sophomore before moving back to her hometown of Philadelphia, Pa.
