PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore bowling squad headed into the season under head coach Roger Petrin looking to improve on his NCAA coaching debut. While they missed out on an at-large bid to the NCAA Bowling Championship, the Hawks did reach the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships by virtue of being one of 16 teams to qualify from four sectionals in March.
