During Thanksgiving week on Wednesday, the men's basketball headlined the 1st Inaugural AAL HBCU Invitational. The Rams began with a huge win against Talladega College 62-57. Charles Hallmon lead the way with 20pts and 12 of 15 from the free-thow line and the team overall was 43% FG. Faite Williams added 14pts and Jimmie Kelly scored 11pts in a great team effort on Wednesday night. On Thursday in the championship game, men's basketball faced Langston University and the Lions ran away with an early lead and won 85-62.
