HORNETS TO ENTER DELAWARE AFRO-AMERICAN SPORTS HALL OF FAME

Dover, Del. (Apr. 12, 2023) --- Delaware State University is well represented in the 2023 Delaware Afro-American Sports Hall of Fame class. The organization's annual banquet is set for this Saturday (Apr. 15) in Dover. Among this year's honorees are former Delaware State football great, National Football League player and Hornets' head coach Rod Milstead. Adolphus Ward, a former Delaware State track and field star, along with 1980s Hornet assistant football coach and highly decorated local high school coach Ron Allen are also in the '23 Delaware Afro-American Sports Hall of Fame class. In addition, Delaware State alum Carmen Hardcastle, also a local championship high school coach, along with current DSU administrator  Tamara Stoner, a former high school track and field star, will be enshrined this weekend.
