On Sunday, the Delaware State University Women's Tennis Team held a fundraiser at Greenville Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. It was a sold-out event, featuring members from the community as well as the Country Club in a Round Robin Doubles event. We had 12 participants and over 30 people contributing to the event, totaling in over $2,000 in donations raised for the tennis team. The generous donations go to support team travel, meals, equipment, uniforms, and costs for the season. Many prominent members of the board as well as Athletic Director Tony Tucker were in attendance. The DSU Tennis Team thanks Greenville Country Club for hosting the event, and thanks to everyone who contributed to support the program as well as the next generation of our sport.
