Dover, Del. (Mar. 28, 2023) --- The Delaware State women's tennis team posted a 7-0 victory over visiting Bowie State today for its third straight win and fifth in the last six matches. The Hornets won each of the six singles contests in straight sets. Daria Julia won her third straight singles match, posting a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 1. Lucia Corte, playing at No. 2, also notched a 6-2, 6-2 win for her second straight singles victory. Baluck Deang was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 3 for the first time this season. Basma Raja, Ja'Nayah Pickens and Isyss Jones collected their first Delaware State wins in the match. Raja was a 6-1. 6-0 winner at No. 4, Pickens won the No. 5 contest 6-1, 6-1 and Jones posted a 6-4, 6-0 victory at No. 6.
