(Apr. 29, 2023) --- The Delaware State women's lacrosse team bid so long to its second stint in the Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference with a 20-5 loss to Liberty in the 2023 finale for the Hornets, who will compete in the Northeast Conference next season. Liberty, the 2023 ASUN regular season champion, led 10-0 after the first period and were never threatened to improve to 11-6 overall and 7-0 in conference play. After winning its first two games, the Hornets dropped their last 14 to end the season at 2-14 and 0-7.
