Dover, Del. (Mar. 25, 2023) --- The Delaware State equestrian team fell short in its bid for the 2023 ECAC championship. The Hornets were edged out by eventual champ Cal Davis 10-8 in the tournament semifinals. Delaware State posted a 5-4 victory in the Jumping Seat category, but was defeated 6-3 in the Western rides. The teams battled to a 2-2 tie on the Flat, with Olivia Brown collecting Most Outstanding Performer honors in the event. Brown topped all riders on the Flat with a score of 152 aboard "Enrique."
