(Feb. 21, 2023) --- A week after becoming the first-ever Delaware State women's lacrosse player selected for an Atlantic Sun Conference weekly honor, goal keep Yeda Couto-Erickson (so.; Boca Raton, Fla.) has done it again. Couto-Erickson has been tabbed as the ASUN Defensive Player-of-the-Week for the second week in a row. She earned the award for recording 16 saves to help lead the Hornets to their stunning 13-12 four-overtime victory against Akron on Feb. 19. She saved the game for Delaware State with two stops in the closing seconds of regulation and one in each of the first three overtime periods.
