Release courtesy of Molloy University Sports Information INDIANAPOLIS, IN – After capturing its fourth East Coast Conference Championship in the last five seasons, the Molloy baseball team enters the NCAA East Regional as the seven-seed. The Lions enter the dance after winning three straight games to clinch the ECC title and will take on Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Champion and host second-seeded Wilmington University Thursday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. CACC runner-up and third-seeded Felician University and Northeast-10 champion and sixth-seeded Pace University round out one half of the East Regional bracket. Top-seeded Jefferson University will host fourth-seeded Goldey-Beacom College and fifth-seeded Franklin Pierce University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the winners of each section of the bracket set to meet in the Super Regional round next week. Molloy reaches the NCAA East Regional for the fifth time under Head Coach Joe Fucarino, who has led the Lions to 32 wins on the campaign including a percent 3-0 mark in the ECC tournament this past weekend in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Graduate student Aidan Larkin was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after hitting .800 driving in six runs and scoring five times.
